Things To Consider Before Buying A Smartphone
It’s the 21st century. Everyone needs to use a smartphone so as to stay connected to the internet.
It’ll be weird not to have a smartphone in this era.
However before purchasing one, there are things to consider in order to avoid regrets.
Based on my knowledge and gathered experience, I’ve been able to compile a list of things to consider before buying a smartphone.
The availability of cash at hand is the first thing to put into consideration.
Buying a smartphone according to your budget is really essential. Many people tend to buy phones off their budget hence making them go broke after buying it.
But if you are financially bouyant, you can buy expensive smartphones.

The battery capacity of a phone is paramount.
What’s the use of having a phone that can’t last for at least 6 hours on usage after full charge.
I personally do not recommend using phones with battery capacity below 4,000mAh.

What’s the meaning of RAM?
RAM (Random Access Memory) is the hardware in a computing device where the operating system (OS), application programs and data in current use are kept so they can be quickly reached by the device’s processor.
RAM is the main memory in a computer. It is much faster to read from and write to than other kinds of storage, such as a hard disk drive (HDD), solid-state drive (SSD) or optical drive.
Which means buying a smartphone with low RAM will result in low processing speed.
Personally I do not advise anyone to use a smartphone without at least 4gb RAM.
4) Storage Space
Aside surfing the internet, smartphones can be used to store files such as documents, pictures, movies, recordings and lots more.
So having a smartphone with reasonable amount of storage space is important.
Although SD cards can be used as supplimentary. It’s still necessary to use a smartphone with reasonable storage space.
As you buy a mobile device keep in mind that it may get faulty at some point in time.
Ensure the phone’s cost of maintenance is within your pocket reach.
Do not buy a phone that is too fragile. Accidents happens sometimes unannounced.
For example ; Children can fall it off the table, you may loose grip of it and then it falls.
So buy a phone that is durable to reduce repair expenses.
7) Availability In The Market
This is very important. Ensure the phone you are buying is well saturated in the market.
This is necessary because of repairs. So the phone parts can be easily bought in the market and replaced.
8) Network Speed
Of course this is the 21st century. It’s almost a most to stay connected to the internet.
Infact you’re able to read this post because you’re connected to the internet.
So buying a phone with fast internet connection should also be put into consideration (preferably 4G or 5G above).
Less I forget the reason behind you buying a smartphone also determines the kind of phone you should buy.
For instance if you need a smartphone for taking photographs and shooting skits then you should get one with a very sharp and clear camera and resolution.
Yeah taste! Not everyone likes big sized phones and vice versa. So before buying one ensure its handy to your taste so you can get the best experience out of it.
Do not buy a smartphone you do not like. Ensure what you’re buying suits your taste.
There are numerous things to consider before buying a smartphone but I tried my best to list out only the most essential of them all.
